On Friday, November 21st, the 3rd Forum on Technologies & Policies for Transportation Energy Conservation and Emission Reduction will take place in Kempinski Hotel Beijing. The event will be hosted by Energy Foundation, co-hosted by GIZ and organized by the Society of Automotive Engineers of China (SAE China). This year, the annual forum will focus on the promotion of electric vehicles as well as related actions, such as mandatory development targets, policy effectiveness evaluation and consumer oriented EV policies.
Besides the participation from Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT), Ministry of Science and Technology (MoST) and National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC), further experts from China Automotive Technology and Research Center (CATARC), Tsinghua University, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Clean Air Alliance of China (CAAC), State Grid Electric Power Research Institute, Energy Foundation, SAE China and GIZ will attend the event.
In the course of the forum various experts will give presentations and deliver speeches of different topics related to the development of Electro-Mobility in China. The range of topics includes the current status and trends of the Chinese EV market, the technology development of EV traction batteries, business and financing models, the analysis of EV target groups as well as the environmental impact assessment of electric vehicles.
