The inventory is the basis for policy making, as policies should be decided and evaluated on real data stated Axel Friedrich, former head of the transport division of the German Environmental Protection Agency. He presented for GIZ experiences of EU air quality policy experiences at a workshop co-organized by the Chinese Ministry of Environment and the Asian Development Bank in Beijing.
